If I remember correctly from my jury duty service is that Hennepin County gives you
bus passes for the first day of service. After that, you are on your own for
transportation. You do receive a stipend for each day of service (I believe it's
$30/day) to cover parking and food costs. Of course, many employers pay jury pay at
the difference of your normal daily pay and the jury pay.
