To all list readers... participants and lurkers... and especially those who stopped by the Viking Bar last night: As others have said, the music was great, the room smokey... I was there from about 8-10 p.m., and enjoyed meeting many of the people who have posted to the list regularly. However, while the music was great, it was extremely difficult to carry on conversations over the ambient 'noise.'... I suggest future list get-togethers be held in a 'lower decibel' and maybe a 'less smokey' environment... regardless, I think it safe to say a good time was enjoyed by all.
