I was just watching all of the new area code doings, and it put me in mind
to thank list member and former state commissioner Steve Minn for what I'm
sure was a big boost protecting 612 for the city. (I'm pretty sure Lisa
Goodman was also involved, so thanks to her and any city officials I've
forgotten.)
I know there have been problems on the fringes...but from my parochial
standpoint, it's been a nice break not to have to change any stationary, biz
cards, etc.
