We're getting near 3 million people in the metro area depending upon how you want to define it. At its peak the population of the City of Minneapolis was a bit over a half million. I'm not sure that I want the density within the city that would be required to have a million people within the city limits. Can our city infrastructure stand that? We're growing in population as a region, as a state and as a nation. Sure the population of Minneapolis can grow and grow by a fair amount. There are a whole bunch of interlocking issues here, but I'm not willing to declare someone evil solely because they live out in the 'burbs. > If they all want God's country so badly then let them > drive a horse and buggy into town. It creates one heck of a solid waste problem and the odor is a bit rude. We need good transit options for them to get here, we are getting somewhat better but we still have a long way to go.
