We're getting near 3 million people in the metro area
depending upon how you want to define it. At its peak
the population of the City of Minneapolis was a bit
over a half million. I'm not sure that I want the
density within the city that would be required to have
a million people within the city limits. Can our city
infrastructure stand that?

We're growing in population as a region, as a state
and as a nation. Sure the population of Minneapolis
can grow and grow by a fair amount. There are a whole
bunch of interlocking issues here, but I'm not willing
to declare someone evil solely because they live out
in the 'burbs.

I'd prefer that they NOT bring the horse into town.
It creates one heck of a solid waste problem and the
odor is a bit rude. We need good transit options for
them to get here, we are getting somewhat better but
we still have a long way to go.

(Writing again today from Denver where the LRT line is
operational, there is a free bus that will take you up
and down the mall and a vibrant downtown community)
