Greetings, United Way of Minneapolis Area is seeking community volunteers to review United Way funded health & human service programs and make funding recommendations. This is a great opportunity for those interested in understanding the service system in the Twin Cities West Metro Area, and in ensuring these programs are meeting the needs of families and individuals. Volunteers will work in groups to study community needs, visit agencies, review agency plans and recommend funding based on United Way priorities and criteria. Organization reviews and funding recommendations will be made between April and October, 2001 and require an overall estimated time commitment of 20 - 30 daytime hours. Training is provided by United Way.
