[Mpls] Progressive Minnesota Endorsement Results

As requested, here are the Progressive Minnesota -- Minneapolis City Council 2001 Endorsements to date.

Ward 9:  PM endorsed Michael Guest.  PM interviewed two candidates, Guest and Gary Schiff.

Ward 10:  PM makes no endorsement at this time.  PM interviewed three candidates, Dan Niziolek, Doug Kress, and Ann Berget.  As it became clear that support was split, the group voted to hold off on making an endorsement until later.

Ward 11:  PM endorsed Scott Benson. 

Ward 12:  PM endorsed Craig Larson. 

Our policy is to interview any candidate who requests a screening.


PM members are welcome to discuss their personal opinions about candidates, but I'd remind folks that, like everywhere else, individual opinions are individual and don't necessarily reflect PM's position.

PM will interview and endorse candidates in other wards and races in the coming weeks and months.  We've already received requests for screenings from many candidates in these races, but any other interested candidates are encouraged to contact us at the address below.
