An earlier post was asking if the Minneapolis Public Schools used Channel 1. I consulted with Coleen Kosloski, Media Services Director, to be sure of my answer. She assures me that we do not have Channel 1 in any schools. Allowing Channel 1 would violate Board policy designed to protect students from the advertising required in exchange for free equipment, which is part of agreements with Channel 1. I hope this answers Mr. Taylor's question.
