Nice balancing act. Smooth delivery. Wrong answer!

Of course tonight was Congressman Obestar's fundraiser here in town. Wonder
how much NWA money he raked in? I'll bet it was a bunch!

Take a look around, Congressman. Every major metropolitan area is having the
same problems with airport noise and night flights, and the same agitation
around issues of livability.  More night time capacity, Congressman?  With
"friends" like you taking positions like that, it's no wonder people don't
trust Congress.  You thinking about rolling over while Bush intervenes in
the mechanics' labor dispute too?

Meanwhile, I won't hold my breath for the decade or so it takes to get the
monopoly airlines in their fortress hubs to shell out for those "quiet"
jets. Congress has made clear their disdain for anti-trust enforcement and
competition policy. And the Bush Administration is declaring the same
hands-off policy as Clinton on these issues.

What's a yellow-dog to do? Turn Green?
