Great Star Trib op ed piece written today by list member Lynell Mickelson. My question Lynell is that last paragraph about the deep rutted streets - do you want to come over and take the motorcade through my alley - it is a pit of ruts. Anyone else's up for the task? Great observations about the Guv - pretty much my thoughts also. And speaking of ruts in the road and snow - how about that Doug Grow article. I hate to think what all my immigrant neighbors are paying for all these towing/car tickets when they probably have a hard time reading all this English - I wonder how much of the language in translated for them and understanding odd and even. If pure-bred Minnesotans are having a hard time understanding the ban and which side of the street to be on at the appropriate timie on the clock - imagine those living here their first real winter in the past four years. Now I responded to Jude by saying, Think Spring and it really is only 23 days away - however, as we all know March is Minnesota's snowiest month. So gear up on that translation - millions of dollars to the city off the backs of the poor and especially those that don't read english. Just a meandering thought this evening as I try to figure out how to pay the heat bill and start working on my tax forms.
