Oh please Dana, let's not get into North/South name calling. I don't think anyone is the city has the perch to view the city as you folks around the park have. I think the point that Lisa makes that this land is being sold for $8 is valid. This is a sweetheart deal. No two ways about it. It ain't the first by any means. This is what we call economic development in our city. Why we would need to let the mayor know our feelings escapes me. The decision to sell or not sell the land resides solely with the council. I say if you don't like it, write your councilperson and urge them not to vote for the sale and to lobby their fellow councilmembers. Tell them that further- more you'll watch their vote and if you don't like it that will go into your consideration at the polls come November 6th.
