The other, and truer litmus test that caucauses and parties use, and which may
have been used in the eighth ward is: "Can this one get elected?"

This, again, is what's known as 'rumor mongering'.

I doubt that GLBT persons will work any differently than non-GLBT persons. It
will be a case of whether they can work together. Plus, there isn't that much
that a city council can do for a gay agenda, if there indeed is one.
