Like I've stated before on this issue...
Voting is a right and privilege of those us who have declared themselves
citizens of this country.  Voting is to be taken seriously.  The position of
letting people that have not either been born as a citizen, or gone through
the process of becoming a citizen, points to one of the major problems.
Citizens don't take voting as seriously as they should.  It is a fundamental
basis for the way this country works.  There are people who are killing in
other countries to gain this right, and a lot among us in this country take
it too causally.
I don't mean to prevent anyone who wants to live in the US as a citizen from
voting, but this right is only for those of us who have declared allegiance
to the United States Of America.
If immigrants can't find there way to and thru the system to become a
citizen, then we need to fix that.  You get to this country, and you should
be told where and how to become a citizen.
