Minneapolis Public Schools will be holding two upcoming public forums: March 26: Commissioner of Children, Families and Learning Christine Jax, Representative Len Biernat, and Senator Larry Pogemiller will participate in a public forum on education at Pillsbury Math/Science/Technology Magnet, March 26, 6:30-7:45 p.m. Hmong, Spanish and Somali translators will be available. Pillsbury is located at 2250 Garfield Street NE. March 22: MPS will hold a public forum on education funding from 7-9 p.m. in the Southwest High School Auditorium, 3414 W. 47th St. Spanish translators will be available. Speakers include Superintendent Carol Johnson, District Lobbyist Jim Grathwol, Director of Budget Marj Rolland, and Southwest Area Superintendent Robert McCauley.
