How truly sad that once again another opportunity to develop an urban
friendly environment was passed up in order to get some short term political
benefits for the DFL establishment. Why does this happen on a constant
basis in this city?
Opponents of this vote should send a very terse note to their city council
representative if they were part of the 7 who voted for this project.
The upcoming city council elections are tremendously important for those
interested in challenging political boss Jackie Cherryholmes and the votes
she controls. All progressives, DFL, Green, or independent should stop
fighting and realize that we need to unite to challenge this corporate
liberal agenda together, or we will continue to be outraged by the actions
of our so-called representatives.
