Related to the issue of parking ramps, as well as all the discussion of
pedestrian issues lately:
April 19 is Earth Carfree Day. People in cities all over the world are
getting around without their cars on this day.
Earth Carfree Day has been going on for ten years. It's not just about
doing without cars, it's also about considering how we can make the
places we live more sustainable.

Quite a number of U.S. cities have events scheduled of some kind. There
are no events scheduled in Minneapolis.
