To follow up on Linda Picone's post please find below the details of
MTN's planned cablecasts of the mayoral debate. MTN is only in the
city of Minneapolis and is not channel 6, which is the metro wide
regional channel.
The Minneapolis Telecommunications Network will be providing video
coverage of the April 24th Mayoral Debate sponsored by local
community newspapers. The debate will not be covered live but will
be played back on the following dates:
Channels
33/17 May 2nd at 6:00 PM
58/67 May 9th at 7:00 PM
33/17 May 16th at 6:00 PM
MTN's Channels are located on the Time Warner Cable system in
Minneapolis. Currently Time Warner is in the process of upgrading
this system. Channels 33 and 58 are in the non-upgraded areas
(primarily south Minneapolis) and 17 and 67 are in the upgraded areas
(primarily north Minneapolis).
