>I know this gets into details of a neighborhood that most don't need to

>is there $110,000 of NRP funds currently missing, but as we all know, it

Regarding missing materials. There is a list here:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cnia-chat/files/

The filename is CNIA_missing_computers.pdf

David Jenson's explanation of this file is at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cnia-chat/message/444

from this message regarding the missing membership database:

I can comment on the missing membership database, but cannot provide enough
information to narrow its location. It will be up to John [current ED],
Zack [CNIA Board President], and the current Board to resolve its
whereabouts. John and I found one remaining Macintosh IIsi computer and
the original Mac SE in the CNIA storage room. We powered up the IIsi, and
it was John Paul's computer with all of the housing and comp block data up
to 1999. I believe CNIA had two more IIsi computers before purchasing the
new computers. The membership database was on one of those computers.
CNIA continued to use one IIsi to maintain the membership database after
the new computers were purchased. I personally used it in March 2000 for
D8 Comp Block lists. I also received a mailing for the Housing Committee
meeting in June/July 2000 based upon a mailing list I believe was generated
from that computer."

>However, to this date, they have done nothing to resolve this very important
>issue after a formal request was given to them. Isn't it ironic that the ED
>at that time (Jana) is currently the ED of another neighborhood group that
>receives NRP funds? I am wondering when the NRP office will start holding
>individuals accountable for their actions.

Worth noting:

Basim Sabri is named personally in former executive director, Jana Metge's
suit against CNIA and selected board members for wrongful termination and
sex discrimination. Sabri was on the board when Ms. Metge was terminated
without due process. The current Chair of the board was working for Basim
Sabri, as was his wife, who also works for Sabri.
