Mark and others - your time is about to come. I believe that the
Minneapolis Summer Parks programming brochure is due in your mailbox any
day. We have hundreds of family fun activities and list most of the
parades and festivals in there also.
The State of Minnesota Explorer site has a listing of local festivals
throughout the state - and believe me there is a festival for absolutely
everything in one of our thousands of towns and lakes all over the state.
The Circle newspaper prints all the pow-wows throughout summer and other
publications and website can give you lots of ideas.
And tonight the website for the Park Board goes up live! www.minneapolis
parks. org
There you can get an update on everything you want to know, sign up for a
permit on-line or that golf tee time. It let's you know where folks can go.
And then City Pages and Pulse fill you in on the concerts, bands and
outdoor music events (some of which are free)
