Two reasons why MOA was likely exempted form this frontage assessment --
the mall and surrounding lands are clouded with pending condemnation proceedings
the mall TIF is still churning -- I'd bet this prevents additional assessments
for public improvements
Hang on to your hat folks, it's going to be a very bumpy ride while we watch rail
unfold -- or deflate as the case may be.
Of the many good points Terrell makes, the one that caught my attention the most was
-- "Why is it that [the lies about rail costs and fare box recovery] this is done
everywhere in the country".
Two words. Federal fantasy.
