This will be my last post on this subject. As I head to the Independence
Party's 5cd convention where I hope to get the endorsment for the city
council seat I'm seekiing, I still wonder about the circumstances of Jim
Niland's cross endorsments by the Greens and the DFL and how that figures in
to the current debate now.  I suppose, being Jewish, that I'm very
apprehensive towards anyone who pushes the idea of party purity given that
one individual decades ago made party purity one of his limitus tests for
not being sent to the gas chambers or labor camps.  I intend on being cross
endorsed by perhaps the two most tolerant parties in Minnesota.  Either this
election is non-partisan or it ain't, but I will run on priciples, not on
any ego-driven pack mentality.
