Another observation for the classy operation that R.T.'s campaign ran.
RESPECT!!!

R.T. held a couple rallies through out the convention to keep his supporters
charged but did so OUT in the hallway so as to not disrupt the proceedings in
the convention room.

It was decided that the two park districts needing to hold meetings to
endorse a park board candidate could do so in a specified area of the
convention hall between mayoral ballots in order to keep things moving as the
day had gotten long. It was made crystal clear that this was taking place and
everyone was asked to be as quiet as possible so this could be done. Leave it
to the SSB campaign to disregard this legitimate request to hold its own
rally right in the convention hall during the first in-district park meeting.
Of course, they were abruptly cut off and sent out of the room.

It must be easy to become so complacent when you're the incumbent. This is
why I like R.T. He doesn't slack, never takes anything for granted. And most
important? He never underestimates the constituents. He values them and he
respects them.
