A wise and somewhat impish Minneapolis-Issues member reminded me that I've
backed myself into a corner that would earn a warning from my List Manager
alter ego: nationalizing Minneapolis issues. My original intent was to focus
on the record of a Minneapolis mayoral candidate, especially since his
federal campaign contributions belie his (still very enigmatic) local
independent/moderate reputation.

So I've trapped myself. I can't discuss further here without shifting the
attention to Gingrich, and federal policies that don't uniquely affect
Minneapolis.
