David, not so astounding. The scenario for Stenglein winning is simply this:
Rybak and McDonald cancel each other, Stenglein comes in second in the
primary and Stenglein picks up the Derus vote, the Barbara Carlson vote, and
the eight-years-is-enough-and-time-to-move-on vote in the general.
