Membership in the Minneapolis/5th District Green Party is open to anyone who
lives in the 5th District and shares the purposes, goals and values of the
Green Party. To become a member an individual must have attended at least one
previous meeting of the Minneapolis/5th District Green Party and/or the Green
Party of Minnesota, and complete a designated membership form. Nonmembers may
participate in group activities. Only members, however, may vote when formal
decisions are made.
The Minneapolis/5th District Green Party is an affiliate of the Green Party
of Minnesota and is dedicated to the values of social and economic justice,
ecological wisdom, democracy, nonviolence, feminism, decentralization,
community-based economics, personal and global responsibility, future focus
and respect for diversity.
