There is a wonderful event happening in the Seward Neighborhood on June
9th. It is the third annual All People's African Festival.--- Learning
,sharing, celebrating cultures. This event is both a Seward Neighborhood
event and Pan African Festival. This event is Sponsored by the P.E.A.C.E
organization, The Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder and the Minneapolis Park and
Recreation Board, supported by the Seward Neighborhood Group, Seward
Montessori Ptso, Hamline University, TCF Bank, Riverview Lion's Club,
Immigration and Naturalization Service and other folks.
The event is noon to 7pm and at 2pm there will be a citizenship ceremony.
I am hoping that there might be some one from the list who could bring the
Mpls E-democracy Banner. It would be great to have an e-democracy presence at
this event. This weekend is The Seward Garage Sale thing Fri. And Sat.
