I guess some of this would have to depend upon the
composition of the Mpls DFL Central Committee. I
haven't seen the list, but I would question whether
the two endorsees to leave the third seat open for
Annie option would be viable. Rochelle could easily be
endorsed for the District seat and redistricting
wouldn't affect her until the next election (whether
she's redistricted out of her seat or not wouldn't
affect her until the next election). As for Bob Fine,
he wasn't endorsed last time city-wide, he wasn't
endorsed this time district-wide, and I wouldn't lay
odds on him coming out of the Central Committee
anyways-wide.
Personally, I've been wondering why someone hasn't
asked/drafted George Puzak to try again. I thought he
did a good job last time he was on the Commission.
