I pulled out my aeronautical charts find that the Chrystal Airport is at N45
03.7 which places the airport (a point along a taxiway just to the northeast
of the Control Tower) 3.7 NM (1 NM = 1.15 SM) north of the 45th Parallel.
Gate F3 at MSP is at N44 53.0 or 7 NM south of the 45th Parallel. On the
otherside of town, the 45th Parallel runs through the Lake Elmo airport
crossing within a few feet of the approach end or Runway 14.
These charts aren't very good for showing roads, but the 45th passes through
a small pennenula on the south end of Medicine Lake and the junction of 35W
and Hiway 36.
