This is rather meaningless "little factoid." You first need to
know what percentage actually attend at these rates. If
only 10% do, then you have a problem. Besides, "correlation
does not imply causation." Just because high attendance rates
are correlated with some measures of success, it does not mean
that high attendance rates cause success. Consider, "social
promotion." In this case student could attend 100% of the time
and learn absolutely nothing.

As I have stated before, I believe that responsibility for
student success is shared by parents, the schools and the
society.
