The title of this thread is:
Lisa McDonald -Evil Yuppie Scum
But it is not all bash McDonald stuff -- there's quite a discussion going
on about gentrification.
The folks on that forum don't like the Mayor too much either.
I'm not sure I agree with this characterization of that forum:
"i am not saying i agree with any or all of the content, i merely find it
compelling to see what people on the outside of active political
participation are thinking and writing."
It's hard to know what the level of these folks political participation is
-- there was a fair amount of discussion of the green party -- and it also
seemed that most of the participants are quite young. Everyone has
annonymous handles, so it's really hard to say what's up there.
The language is nothing compared to the Free Republic -- who rant on about
gays whenever they can. I've been kicked off that forum on several
occasions because I tried to politely offer an alternative point of view on
the subject.
