I have been following the Neighborhood Associations posts with avid interest
since last month I went on the board of my neighborhood association. I don't
know much about it all yet, so I am not competant to comment - but this one
comment of Russ's caught my eye. I haven't gotten to know everyone yet, but
on our board we have an even split of men and women, and a pretty good
contingent of young and old. At least two members are 70+ and at least
three members, including me, have preschool kids. Meetings are early
evenings, and most of us walk over to the Rec center. So Russ - how do you
think those with young kids, or the elderly are "distanced"?
