With 800 people responding I wonder why do it at all with the population in
the couple hundred thousands......
Who are these people? I'm never asked... no one I know is ever asked... it's
probably the same 800 people from the middler's party that don't feel one way
or the other about anything, except what the major media outlets tell them are
the important issues.
What bothers me the most is this paragraph.....

"Those most likely to believe the city is on the wrong track include black
people, those with a high-school education or less, those earning less than
$20,000, those with children and residents of the North Side, the poll shows."

That somehow if your not in the majority, your not that smart or successful or
the "right" color skin. Or your not screwing enough people over to be
successful....That we might have a problem serving the people with adequate
transportation, adequate clean air, clean water (the Mississippi is atrocious
and vile), preserved historic places......is glossed over as unimportant. And
crime like the weather is cyclical....
