Greg Abbott said:
"The questions asked of R.T. Rybak by Terrell Brown
perfectly
illustrates why
candidates and/or city officials are reluctant to post
on Mpls-issues.
No candidate in their right-mind would engage in a
public, open-ended
argument with a highly agitated antagonist who asks an
endless series
of
leading and unfair questions. ("Really, R.T., you can
tell us - when
did
you stop beating your wife?").
Food for thought as we sit at our keyboards composing
our questions."
Excellent point, Greg.
I've personally been waiting for someone to ask "Just
what are you hiding by only using your initials,
RT?...if that is your real name??" And I am only
half-kidding!
What I am continually astonished by is the patience
and composure of RT in answering these myriad
accusations posed as questions. Particularly when so
many of them come very close to accusing him of
elitism and/or racial insensitivity, like with the
private school and downtown jail party posts. He has
avoided any negativity or vitriol, unlike other
candidates who've responded here.
He continues to reaffirm my decision to support him by
his maturity in dealing with this e-group.
