[TB] A couple of major differences come immediately to mind. First there was this law, passed by a Democratic US Congress, that prohibited the Air Traffic Controllers from striking. MPEA, as most public employee unions in the state of Minnesota, can legally strike. > Perhaps, the candidate will contract out their work as a reward > for there vote. [TB] And what candidate, pray tell, has suggested contracting out work currently done by members of MPEA? > The UAW has endorsed the Mayor. > Is this the beginning of a new class war in Minneapolis ? [TB] Not surprisingly, the only place class warfare has started to rear its head is from those supporting the Mayor. Typical of her lack of leadership over the past 8 years (longer than that if you want to count her time on the Council). We now have people closest to the city leadership, MPEA employees, council members and candidates endorsing Rybak. Wonder why they don't want to retain the Mayor?
