[TB]  What's going on is a total disregard for the
truth. 

I have vague recollection of hearing at one time that
a court had ruled that "free speech" means that a
candidate can say whatever they want regardless of the
truthfulness.

I also believe that MN law provides a penalty for
claiming endorsements that don't exist.

Just another reason not to vote for the mayor if I
hadn't already cast an absentee ballot.
