Quick story!
I went to a good friends birthday party last night. She is not that political and most likely does not vote in primary elections. Just a guess! She has a brother and many friends in New York city and she was devastated by the terrorist attack. She was crying as she recalled what she was doing on Tuesday when she heard the dreadful news. As tears ran down her face she said "I felt helpless and the only thing I new that I could do to help was vote"! Voting empowered her during a time when she felt complete helplessness.
