I was perusing the Greg Abbott web site, www.gregabbott.org, and discovered
that Mr. Abbott is claiming that he helped "broker" a solution to the
Boulevard project.
I'd like to know what role Mr. Abbott played in brokering this solution.
This is truly an amazing turn of events, especially considering the fact
that Mr. Abbott was so strongly against the project and stated so numerous
times on this list.
Now Mr. Abbott not only supports the project but says he was instrumental in
its current configuration.
Sounds to me like we have the makings an opportunistic politician who
originally misread the sentiments of his ward and is now trying to cover his
tracks.
If elected Mr. Abbott looks like he'll fit in quite nicely with the folks
down at City Hall.
