After dealing with a number of off-list comments and insults I might as
well burn my second post of the day on this issue.

I was specifically responding to complaints that no helicopter rescue plan
for the tall buildings was in place.  The sort of lower floor impact in
which upper floors would be intact allowing for any sort of helicopter
rescue is made very difficult by the surrounding buildings.  One thing
that made the World Trade Towers so vulnerable was the way in which they
protruded from the rest of skyline.

I think rather than dwelling on this particular relatively preventable
method of attack we need to prepare for the next attack that could come as
Dyna describes by truck or by boat or train or anything else.
