who contribute their time and talents to enhancing the quality of life in
our City is fast approaching. The deadline for submitting nominations is

14th annual Minneapolis Awards
Each year, the Minneapolis Awards are given to recognize and honor
individuals who contribute their time and talents to enhancing the quality
of life in Minneapolis. Anybody who lives, works or volunteers in
Minneapolis is eligible. Nominees may have contributed in their
neighborhoods, in the social services or business, through the arts, in
service to youth, or in any number of ways. They may be leaders in the
public sector or non-profit area, or may quietly work behind the scenes.

This year's award ceremony honoring award winners and recognizing all
nominees will be on Nov. 15, 2001. If you know anybody who works to improve
life in Minneapolis, let them know you appreciate their efforts by
nominating them for a Minneapolis Award. For nomination instructions, call
the Communications Department at 673-2102 or visit www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us.
Nominations must be submitted by Sept. 28.
