There are a couple of errors here. One, every candidate that could be
reached was invited - one of the points was not to seek political
advantage among political competitors - that tolerance is a value all
Minneapolis candidates share.

Number two, I don't believe any candidate has accused someone who wasn't
there of being a bigot. I think Mr. Fenner is the only one saying this.

While I think it's a fair point to debate how effective the rally will
be in the long run, I know Cam and Patrick intended this only as a
positive statement.

I think humility also includes not jumping to wildly speculative
conclusions about those with whom you have an honest disagreement. We
could all use a little bit of this lately.
