Um, partisan politics? A DFLer challenging another DFLer
for council leadership is partisan?

Coincidentally September 13 was also two days after a
primary election that produced different results from
what many people expected (either a whole lot better
or a whole lot worse, depending on your point of view).
The future presidency of the council was obviously in
question. You may not be happy that anyone is challenging
Cherryhomes. It was clear that someone would. I thought
that a public announcement added some stability to an
uncertain situation.

So what about those of us who voted on September 11 and
encouraged our friends to vote? Are you trying to say
that we were engaging in partisan politics and lacked
respect and concern for current events?
