Sorry Jordan, this could get boring.

I have had an on-going love hate relationship with the
squirrels in my yard. They mostly live in my
neighbors attic. I feed them which grates my
neighbor. I am learning though. The squirrels have
become good little zealots at coming after the food.
They have seemingly watched my cats and have now
learned to push my screen door open and walk into my
kitchen. No, I don't like that much. I managed to
curtail their bulb eating action to some degree. I
roll them in red pepper, and put human hair on top. I
also watch my neighbors yards in the spring to see my
$5.00 Iris's growing beautifully in their garden or
yard where some squirrel transplanted them. In the
Spring, they eat my tulips right when they bloom their
flower. Sorry Steve, even with daffodils in front of
them. They love red and deep purple tulips. But I was
told that if you plant pastel tulips, they won't eat
them. So far so good.

Then there are the crows or black birds. I am not sure
what they are. They are huge, and very loud. I feed
them too and when I don't get the food out there quick
enough, they squawk to major irritation.

I also have a passel of dogs living around me that
seem to hold choir practice regularly. My neighbor has
huskies that howl when she is not home. They start
the chorus and the rest of the dogs around me follow.
Some days I think it's funny, others I'd like to
muzzle them all. Then there's the pitbull that lives
next door that likes to jump the fence and run through
my house chasing my cat. Not too keen on that action.
He is really just a big baby dog though just looking
for fun.

And I don't like stray cats. They are mean to my
babies and they spray on my house which drives me
crazy. But trying to leash a cat? You would have to
train them from kitties. My cats would have absolutely
no part of that.

That's my little inner-city animal world. Have a great
day everyone.
