I also believed that Trader Joe's needed Wine in Grocery stores (of which I am a supporter) to survive, until I hit the Scarsdale branch in NY which doesn't have it. Also the model in some places (ranging from Byerlys to Sam's Club) where there is a liquor store with the same name next to it could be looked at. And while I'm on this subject, you would be amazed at both how many Minneapolitans do NY style eating and shopping and how many New Yorkers shop at Zabars and Fairway in NYC making fairly large trips (with quick parking stops). Not to mention the availability of delivery service.
