O.K. how about HISTORIC BUILDINGS? They are here but once they lose they NEVER come back again! I wrote the other day about our efforts to get historic designation for the Harmon Automobile District. Zoning & Planning will meet to discuss this issue on October 30th @1:00PM. We need your help, by contacting your City Council Member to say that you support the Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission, Council Member Lisa Goodman (673-2207) and Citizens for a Loring Park Community, in our efforts to preserve a unique area that represents the early history of the emerging automobile industry in Minnesota. I realize that most of the discussion issues on this forum revolve around the elections comming up in a few weeks, and I really do enjoy the banter and thoughful comments all of you share. However, we still need to remember that there are "non-political" issues that require our attention. Please make these calls and cast a vote for historic preservation!
