If Sarah Janacek thinks that the few remaining Reoublicans in Minneapolis
are going to vote for SSB merely because Rybak campaigned for Nader,
she needs her pretty blonde head examined. I am incredulous that she
(and these other people, most of whom appear to be "Kenwood Republicans")
would ask us to back a mayor who has had about as much to say to the Republicans of this city and our concerns as any of the Daley dynasty in
Chicago. For the first time in my life I am voting for Greens and "radical"
DFLers in an effort to shake things up around here and get rid of the
"business as usual" down at city hall. It makes me sick that there are
actually Republicans who would publicly support Sayles-Belton, much
less call for others to support her, but it's a big tent party, with lots of
clowns to accompany the elephants. :)
