I have a dog. I love dogs. If he got shot I would feel bad for a long time, but I would not hire a lawyer and sue. I like my dog more than I like most lawyers. I like dogs more than I like most police officers I have met for that matter. But I would not sue. In the article I read the deputy already expressed regret, although he did not apologize. The dog has a history of aggression according to the story. Just let it go. Let it go. There is to much divisiveness in the world. Too much hate and anger. With everything else going on (anthrax, bombings, burying the dead in New York) take a deep breath and let it go.
