According to Meleah Maynard's 26-Sep article in City Pages, the City of Minneapolis will give the developing company, McCormack Baron, a 62-year lease on the Hollman land. I am no expert in this area, does anyone more familiar with these things happen to know if this is standard procedure or unusually long. I would guess that most people involved with this deal will be dead before the contract comes up for renewal.
