I would just like to send a quick note to thank all of you who support our efforts for historic designation of the Harmon Place Automobile District. We were very pleased that the Zoning & Planning Committee voted this afternoon to recommend designation! For those of you who lament the loss of all the unique small shops along the south Nicollet Mall take heart that our efforts will preserve another area of the Loring Park neighborhood that is home to the Loring Bar & Cafe, Buca Restaurant, Joe's Garage and dozens of other small businesses. We do however, still need your support. Please contact your City Council Member to encourage them to vote to support the Z&P decision made today. The full City Council will make their decision at their next scheduled meeting. Thanks again! Richard Anderson Citizen's for a Loring Park Community
