Sharon Sayles Belton’s tardiness Tuesday night to the mayoral candidate debate
hosted by Twin Cities Quorum was rude and showed poor time management and scheduling
skills. Her apology for being "a few minutes late" further displayed her distorted
view of reality - she was 32 minutes late!

I further question her priorities when she claimed that her appearance at a
fundraising event was more important than being on time for a debate which simply
could not begin without her present.

If Sharon and her staff cannot manage and prioritize her time and commitments, how can
we support her continued attempts to manage our city and prioritize its needs?

The elements of this small incident has been seen before in much larger City matters.
I urge voters to judge the candidates on their actions and not only on their words.
