<< Am I the only one who's sick of sore losers? Tamir, Jonathan Palmer and Barb Lickness should maybe give some thought to why they didn't win the primary -- you know, a little introspection about why your campaign was unsuccessful, or your own inadequacies as candidates -- instead of criticizing those who did win or expecting them to spend their time answering questions on this forum (which is really of limited use to in winning the sixth ward race). Seems to me that the candidates need to spend their time campaigning -- which is, after all, the business of being a candidate -- rather than trying to placate some former rivals who seem to be eating some mighty sour grapes. >> On the contrary, I have found the comments and queries of the former hopefuls mentioned above to be among the most interesting, entertaining, and informative on this list. Quite regularly, these people have the facts or have an angle I want to consider, thank you. I do believe, as I observe their postings, that campaigning and losing must give wings to the writers' creative mind. It takes a touch of the muse to write what moves, amuses, and informs the rest of us: it takes a lot of guts to run a campaign, not prevail and continue to strongly participate for the benefit of the rest of us. I wish to thank those people mentioned above and some others, for moving along the debate. You have made this political season more exciting for me and many others. I also wish to commend David Brauer for his nonstop effort. Hopefully, this nod will soften the blow (whoops) of my ACCIDENTAL third posting in one day. And finally Michele, may you run for office someday, and lose, and gain as an artist!
