I thought many may want to take note of this event as
reparations or a resolution supporting the federal
government exploring reparations (HR 40) was an issue
that many candidates were questioned about in this
years race for city offices.

Chicago Alderperson Dorothy Tillman who was
instrumental in getting a resolution on reparations
through the Chicago City Council will host a community
presentation and discussion on repararations entitiled
"Gaining Legislative Momentum for the Reparations
Movement at the Minneapolis Urban League this
Saturday, November 10, 2-4 pm. Sunday she will speak
at Zion Baptist Church at 11 am.

Tillman is trying to build on the momentum of passing
a resolution in support of reparations through the
Chicago City Council by a vote of 46-1. Chicago
played host to the National Reparations Convention
Where the first unified Plan of Action was drawn up.
